Love The Beast is a documentary about Eric Bana and his 1974 Australian Ford Falcon XB Coupe. It is currently available on Netflix Streaming and Hulu.com. Bana directed the film and is a character – along with the car and a group of his old friends.

I saw this custom truck at a local car show two years ago. It has had some amazing metal work done to it. It appears to be loosely based on a 1956 Ford. All I could think of was that it should be named Quagmire.

This Transporter is for sale in Orem, Utah. It looks to be in nice shape but what is great about it is the way the owner wrote the ad. The entire text is as follows:
“My bus could be your bus. The best part is it has a new 1776 engine in it, the worst part is that it could be your bus, then I would miss it, and regret selling it.”

Quick update on the Arrow project: I was able to finally pare down the Conquest Harness to just the engine control items. That is, mass air flow, boost sensor, spark controller, temp, oil pressure, knock sensor, and the ECM.

A gold 1974 Pontiac Firebird is the car you immediately think of when you think of the Rockford Files. Watching the series now, in 2012, what stands out to me isn’t the Firebird, but the vehicles in the background. It is great entertainment to watch the “extras” and try to identify them.
