In 1955, Citroen introduced the DS to the world.  It was very advanced for its time with its aerodynamic styling by Italian Bertoni and French Lefèbvre, its hydropneumatic suspension, hydraulic power steering, and front disc brakes. 

So what do you do with a 1964 model?  Full restoration?  Mild custom?  Nope.  The only choice is full hot rod. Click through for more pictures and a video. (Includes smokey burnout) 

 This car is for sale here, on kumbera motors, for $115k.  That price is ridiculous, but the car is fantastic. 

The builders dropped in an LS1 Corvette drivetrain, updated all of the suspension, updated every part of the interior, and added some 18″ wheels.  The final product is quite attractive – though I’d put those wheels in the dumpster and try something a bit more classic.
